This webshop is dedicated to selling embroidery designs. If you want to purchase an item, all the different available sizes are included in the download. Every design you purchase comes in a zip file, with a number of different embroidery file extensions:

  • .dst
  • .exp
  • .hus
  • .pes
  • .sew
  • .jef
  • .vip
  • .vp3
  • .xxx

There is also an overview PDF with the number of stitches, the colors, design sequence info (changes, stops, etc),… The colors are all based on the Simthread or the Marathon color sheet, but of course you can change the colors to your liking. We found a comprehensive color conversion chart here: http://threadchart.info/threadchart.php?f=MARTHPE5

All the designs were tested on a Pfaff and on a Janome embroidery machine. Under the “freebie” category, you can find some free designs, you can test these first to see if everything works fine for you. If you should have any trouble with a design, please contact me, and I’ll look for a solution.

All the settings are for normal cotton fabric by default.

Some tips:

  • Always test a design first on the same kind of fabric you’ll use on the final workpiece.
  • For fabrics that don’t stretch, use 2 layers of light weight stabilizer.
  • For fabrics that do stretch, use an iron-on cut away stabilizer and one or two layers of tearaway.
  • For fabrics with loops (like bathing towels and velvet), use wash away stabilizer.
